The 139th Legislative District contains parts of PIKE County consisting of the TOWNSHIPS of Blooming Grove, Dingman, Greene, Lackawaxen, Milford, Palmyra, Shohola and Westfall and the BOROUGHS of Matamoras and Milford and Part of WAYNE County consisting of the TOWNSHIPS of Berlin, Cherry Ridge, Damascus, Dreher, Lehigh, Oregon, Palmyra, Paupack, Salem and Sterling and the BOROUGH of Hawley.

Northeast Legislators Announce Key COVID-19 Funding for Area Fire, Rescue and EMS Companies

EAST STROUDSBURG – With Pennsylvania first responder companies suffering heavy financial losses due to COVID-19, Reps. Rosemary Brown (R-Monroe/Pike), Jonathan Fritz (R-Susquehanna/Wayne) and Mike Peifer (R-Pike/Wayne) announced today that first responder companies located in Monroe, Pike, Susquehanna and Wayne counties collectively will receive more than $1 million in state grants from the Office of the State Fire Commissioner to help counter these losses.

PIKE COUNTY – Today, the governor again vetoed another bipartisan piece of legislation, House Bill 2787, showing his complete disregard for the rights our local school officials have to make and enforce their own decisions regarding district sports and extracurricular activities. Reps. Rosemary Brown (R-Monroe/Pike) and Mike Peifer (R-Pike/Wayne) gave the following statements, expressing their disappointment.
